Tel Aviv, Israel – January 6, 2016 – RiT Technologies (NASDAQ: RITT), a leading provider of converged infrastructure management solutions that enable companies to maximize utilization and security of their network infrastructure, announced today that System Operator of Unified Energy System (JSC SO UES) has deployed RiT’s Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) solution in the Orenburg region of Russia. RiT’s certified partner Prosoft Systems integrated RiT’s IIM solution PatchView+ with Unified Energy System network infrastructure consisting of more than 4000 ports.
PatchView+ automates and streamlines the network infrastructure management by providing a comprehensive real-time view of all IT assets, identifying points of failure before they cause downtime and reducing the likelihood of errors occurring during manual operation.
PatchView+ also provides precise provisioning of equipment, optimizing asset management and lifecycle management while ensuring full utilization of all IT assets – down to the last switch port. Including the ability to manage the safety of network branches from a central location, PatchView+ easily integrates with external applications using a set of SDK libraries.
“Prosoft Systems provided end to end services from the installation of physical infrastructure, to implementation, configuration and commissioning. Due to their exceptional capabilities, Power Substations of JSC SO EES in Orenburg region (South Ural, Russia) experienced a smooth implementation”, commented Dariusz Zajac, Director of RiT CIS.
"Orenburg SO UES faced the challenges of increasing costs for infrastructure management and network security. RiT’s PatchView+ solution provided a real-time network monitoring and increased utilization of the active equipment for increased cost efficiency.
Experts of the Prosoft Systems supported by RiT Technologies carried out the engineering, installation and commissioning of the IIM system at a high professional level. During the first months of operation we have reduced operating costs, increased IT department efficiency and prevented network faults", commented by IT Department of Orenburg SO UES.
