TIA membership

Jun 03, 2020

RiT Tech is now a registered Engineering Committee Participant (ECP) in the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). ECP membership is ideal for a company or business unit looking to become deeply involved in shaping a single TIA standard. TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a Standards Development Organization (SDO) and therefore capable of creating US Standards.

Standards projects and technical documents initiated by TIA's engineering committees are formulated according to the guidelines established by the ANSI Essential Requirements.

In achieving this membership status Anand Kumar, our RCDD qualified Global Product Manager RIT Tech is now a full ECP Participant. This allows RiT Tech full access to, and participation in, Technical Committee 42 (TR-42), all subcommittees, working groups and task groups.
