RiT Tech Hosts Its First Roundtable Event Under Their ATFI? Brand

Transforming data center infrastructure management will take an entire industry to act.

On 15^th June 2023, we will be hosting a unique roundtable event bringing together over 35 leaders from the data center industry. We will be exploring opportunities to address three important areas of focus:

• ESG Reporting: How do we provide accurate information to enable transparency and integrity? How do we protect the reputation of the brand and allow access to European sustainable funding?
• BETTER MI: How we enable accurate and accessible management information, and its critical role in data center operations.
• PRACTICAL CHALLENGES: How can we better understand both customer and management issues to develop fit-for-purpose management information solutions with predictive capabilities?

Today’s digitisation and rapid advancement of technology is driving significant change for the data center industry. However, what seems to be unchanged is the challenge of creating a standard for useful and coherent management information which enables innovation and efficiency.

The output of the event will result in three papers, that the ATFI? team will release over the coming weeks and months.

What is A Thirst for Innovation?

Set up in 2021 during the COVID pandemic, the A Thirst for Innovation? events have been providing a platform for conversation for moving on from the DCIM concept introduced over 10 years ago. Together we are working to create a new methodology and so far we have over 100 active members who have been participating in shaping the future of digital infrastructure management for data centers.

The principle behind these events is in facilitating knowledge exchange and open discussions with confidence in a confidential environment. These events provide an exciting opportunity to make change happen.

What is the goal of ATFI?

The ultimate goal of "A Thirst for Innovation?" is to take Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) beyond its current limitations and create a new methodology where all data center operators have access to a federated system. This comprehensive system will address physical risks, ensure adherence to policies, and streamline procedures.

As we stand at the brink of an evolutionary leap in data center management, the visionaries and pioneers of change will be the ones who shape the future.
