Triple trophies for data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software pioneers

May 30, 2022

XpedITe, RiT Tech’s revolutionary approach to data center infrastructure management, is continuing to earn rave reviews and recognition from industry insiders.

The cutting-edge Universal Intelligent Infrastructure Management solution secured a hotly-contested double at this year’s DCS Awards, which celebrates the achievements of businesses serving the Global Data Centre World.

XpedITe was crowned Data Centre Intelligent Automation and Management Innovation of the Year for the second time and Data Centre ICT Automation/Orchestration Innovation of the Year, for the third time, during the high-profile prize-giving ceremony in London.

Powered by advanced algorithms and developed to remove operational blind spots from a data center’s topology by capturing the role of every asset and its inter-dependencies, XpedITe already affords users a real-time, 360-degree view of their operations.

A significant step change from the monitoring capabilities of other data center infrastructure management tools, it can integrate with all of the data center layers - from the physical to IT networks and applications. It can plan installations and forecast risks, automate ongoing processes and operational workflows as well as manage the lifecycle of assets and resource utilisation.

Reflecting on the accolades received by XpedITe, RiT Tech CEO Assaf Sklonik said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by our peers for the third year in a row. This significant win is a worthy reward for the team’s hard work and will to challenge convention."

With our pioneering XpedITe tool, we aim to ditch the baggage that follows DCIM around like a clingy ex. Mark Acton, Business Strategy and Technology Director for RiT Tech, explains DCIM’s persistent poor reputation is caused by DCIM having been “mis-marketed, mis-sold and misunderstood. People still forget that the ‘M’ stands for ‘management’, not ‘monitoring’.”

XpedITe, on the other hand, is a DCIM in its truest sense – connecting clients’ infrastructure and network in one platform, while fully automating and optimising its daily operation.
